Golden Sky Over Two Worlds
For years, my work has been rooted in the ocean—its tides, storms, and luminous horizons. But I’ve always been fascinated by how different landscapes can hold the same feeling. That curiosity led me to a new series: bringing my ocean scenes into conversation with the desert where I now live part-time.
Cacti stand where driftwood might be, rocky shores and beaches touch the tide, and the horizon becomes a place where desert and ocean quietly meet.
This developing series is for people who carry the ocean in their hearts, even while living far from the shore—for desert dwellers who still feel the pull of salt air. It’s my way of honoring both worlds I love: the wild Alaskan waters that shaped me, and the sun‑washed desert that so many of my collectors call home.
Wouldn't you love to have a reminder of the ocean in your home? I know I do!
